Finally started!!

Well, I got off my rump and sowed 8 pop bottles this morning before going to work - all Buddleias for my precious Monarchs.

My problem this year has been that I've found a hobby which is obsessing me - mosaics. Doing the containers this morning, I realized I had 2 hours between the time my daughter leaves for school and the time I have to leave for work, so from now on, the mornings will be reserved for winter sowing, and the evenings for mosaics.

Here I go!!

Sounds like a good plan Nicole!

My darn job interferes with my wintersowing and indoor sowing! So I'm usually busy as a beaver on my days off sowing and transplanting. But since March is just around the corner, I think if I can do 6 after work everyday, I'll be on schedule.

I've got all my perennials and hardys done. Now I'm chompin' at the bit to get the annuals going, but I learned from experience last year to hold off till April.
I have 10 gallons of paint waiting in the front hall for me to get started redecorating. Waaah! I don't wanna paint! I wanna plant!

Yes you are right about jobs Sharon - they interfere with life! Who thought up this 'work' idea anyway, eh?

I did another 8 this morning - 4 more Buddleias (white), 2 Golden Chain Tree and 2 Campsis Radicans. Then I realized I had to stay home as our daughter caught this nasty thing and her cheeks were so red from fever I thought they were going to explode. After settling her down with meds, I got excited about the prospect of having a winter sowing day, but lo and behold the household chores started screaming at me... Now the dogs are staring at me with leashes in their mouths... Next hubby will be home staring at me for supper... Will this madness ever end??!! LOL!

Tonight's therapy - Sneak in a few more containers. Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone.

Way to go

Wendy!!

Since you are so far ahead, wanna come over here and help me do mine? You don't need to redecorate do you? You'll just be thinking about doing it again in another 10 years or so, so why not wait until then?? :)
(I'm being facetious here. Bad Nicole. Really bad Nicole!)

I solved my decorating problems 6 years ago when we bought a log home...
