now peas and other plants

Hi everyone,

I am new to this group and I am glad I found it.

I've tried gardening before and didn't have much luck, they die as soon as I moved them outside in early June.

A week ago I've started to sow seeds (snow peas, chives, parsley, cherry tomatoes, annuals flowers and carnations) into a small 81 holds green house I bought from home depot.

I would very love to have any advices I should take/do to make sure these 81 plants could grow. I would also like to know how to grow sweet potatoes?

Thank you all.

Welcome to the forum Poppy!

Go to the mother board and read all you can about wintersowing. There is wonderful advice there.

If you're going to sow in small containers, you're going to have to watch them faithfully everyday, sometimes twice a day for watering at this time of year. They will also blow over if the container is not supported or in a protected area.

I start my tom's indoors as usual, our season is toooooo short in order for them to ripe up in time.

Good luck!
Sharon

Dear Crazy Gardener,
Thank you for your advice. I went to read more about wintersowing, I wish I knew about wintersowing earlier! For now I will faithfully watch mine as you noted.
Have fun gardening.

Another website that has great advice is Trudi's website, lots of information over there too.
