| Welcome to the forum Poppy! Go to the mother board and read all you can about wintersowing. There is wonderful advice there. If you're going to sow in small containers, you're going to have to watch them faithfully everyday, sometimes twice a day for watering at this time of year. They will also blow over if the container is not supported or in a protected area. I start my tom's indoors as usual, our season is toooooo short in order for them to ripe up in time. Good luck!
