This summer has been really nice for some plants and disappointing for others. My Love in a Mist did very well....as did my peony poppies. Here are some photos taken yesterday: Yvonne's Salvia and Striped Marvel marigold

| Congratulations!! Your Yvonne's Salvia is beautiful. My blooms were very sparse this year - we had very little hot summer weather here in Ottawa. The sunflowers flowers are a beautiful mix. Are you collecting seeds from them? Please let me know. |

| Thanks northerner on. They are both still in bloom so I hope to grab some seed when they ripen. It certainly took a long time for some things to bloom this year so I hope newbie wintersowers don't become discouraged and give next year another try. I'm still waiting for my verbena to bloom...and the petunias did not do well for me this year at all. There is always next year!!!! |

very nice! :) your Yvonne's salvia did so well. I had one plant make it and flower at about a foot and a half tall. I will give it another try next year......sigh! :) your sunflowers are beautifull. Love the colours. |
