It depends who is supplying the CPs to Lowes. The infamous death cubes from Botanical Wonders are often suppliers so you often see D. adelae.
But the next supplier is Gubler Orchids with the small pots covered with plastic cups, they offer most of the time D. adelae but also sell D. tokaiensis, a natural hybrid between D. spathulata & rotundifolia, and now and then D. capensis.
Last is Booman Floral, they offer a wider selection of sundews: D. capensis, D. tokaiensis, D. 'Marston's Dragon', D. multifida, D. binata, D. intermedia, D. adelae, & D. nidiformis dielsonii. But it is rare to see this company supplying Lowes with CPs. They package their plants in pots inside a plastic sock or bag, or encased in a folded up box of soft transparent plastic with colorfull caption like "octupus plant". Last October they were selling D. capensis & D. binata.
Just a quick tip for when you buy from "Lowes death cube" most people take the plant out of the container when they get home this is very bad for the plant in Spring or Winter. What you want to do is keep the plant in the shade (1-2 hours of sunlight or a little more) and open the lid a tad every day until the lid is off then re pot it, the rush of humidity will kill the plant.
