Utricularia are so weird. I have one that'll grow "roots" and then those "roots" will grow little leaves. Its so crazy, but thats why we grow them, right?

If you want an even weirder plant try crossing a Butterwort with a Bladderwort. I have heard from Sarracenia Northwest that they produce viable offspring with carnivorous butterwort leaves and carnivorous root bladders. They are distant cousins despite looking different.

IâÂÂve heard about Sarracenia Northwest successfully crossing Utrics with Pings but it would be interested which species of each they used.

Maybe I should ask them, wouldnâÂÂt mind trying it myself.
