Carnivorousplants.org has a seed bank that often has D. capensis seeds. You could also wait for a grower on one of these forums to get some flowers going and see if they would send you some seeds. If/when mine does flower again, I would be willing to send seeds if they produce, but that might be a few months.

I have one that has been flowering for a bit. It isn't done yet but I'll try to keep you in mind for when it does. I'm not sure why I'm letting it go-I guess I didn't learn my lesson with the last 80 bajillion seeds that germinated.

I'm willing to send you some seed. However, while I do have a flower stalk on one of my plants right now it's not blooming yet. It'll be at least a month (or two) before I have seed ready. Send me an email if you don't get seed from someone else and I'll send you some as soon as they are ready.

Man, I was just snipping a ripe stalk and a whole mess (literally) of seeds spilled out of the pods!

I just realized something from your Email address - the .ca. You'll need a Canadian partner. Google Ontario Carnivorous Plants Society or Mabudon. That'll get ya where ya need to go!

*awesome*! thanks for the link petiolaris - I just checked that website and found a whole list of fantastic vendors...I couldn't resist and have ordered myself not only d capensis, but also some nepenthes seeds (are these tricky to germinate?)

okay did some reading and seems that nepenthes are difficult to germinate...I don't have any live sphag either - just dried long-fibered stuff. Maybe I'll hold off on those ones for now...
