my huge sanguinea produces so much plantlets.Almost everyday I find another
tiny plant.

What a great way to start the New Year. Thats a beautiful pitcher. Do all neps put up plantlets and can they be removed and planted as a plant itself?

So far as I know, most Nepenthes do produce offshoots from their bases and older vines as they age.... it is a sign the plant is getting closer to maturity.

When the plant is well established and has grown several vines out that are several feet long, they can be clipped diagonally and sectioned down to about 8-12 inch vines with several good leaves, notched on a bare section of vine, and rooted in water or Nepenthes mix in a month or two. Basically, a single plant will produce several vines that make it bushier, especially if you take some as clippings like you would with an ivy. I intend to let mine grow for as long as I can before finally realizing it is too big and have to clip it back a bit.

Mine has several pitchers but is just starting to put one over the edge of the pot. I have a long ways to go.

Sarracenia Northwest indicated that potting the cuttings in regular Nepenthes mix has a lower chance of working than if you use pure, moist perlite and a humidity dome, terrarium or cover of some kind as transpiration could keep the cutting from making it. Another tactic they indicated is to cut the leaves in half, keeping enough green for photosynthesis yet also cutting back on transpiration.
