What to do with old soil

So I just finished repotting all my Sarracenia and VFTs and I was wondering if there are any clever ideas about what to do with the old soil. Usually I just throw it away or let it sit in my yard some where. Now that I have around 50 plants I hate to just throw away so much old soil.

On a separate note, the warm weather in southern California has brought some of my plants out of dormancy. I can't wait for the first flowers of spring from my Sarracenia!

It depends... is it full of moss?

Most of it is half milled peat, half perlite. Some of it has long fibered moss pieces. I took most of the live moss out and put it in other pots.

What I'm getting at is that if your media has unwanted moss or is infested with whatever, it's best to toss it. If it doesn't seem unhealthy, by all means, re-use it.
