In a year or so it will look like mine.

The newest pitcher on mine just opened after reaching 8 inches. It could swallow a mouse with no problem. The surrounding pitchers are up to 6 inches.

Wow thats just amazing mutant! And I truly hope your right. I am very excited about the prospect of mine growing into a plant like that! I have heard of some growers that use foliar spray feeding, do you use anything like that on your Nep's, or do you feed them insects like live crickets? I know mine has captured a few gnats, but I have not attempted to hand feed it. Thanks for the positive encouragement! :)

I never have used foliar feeds as I like to do things the natural way. I do feed the plant plenty of sunlight, distilled water, and keep the temperatures between 65-80 degrees in the window it is in. In addition, anything that happens to catch my attention, like a jumping spider, cricket, fly, etc. gets dropped in a pitcher every few weeks if the plant has not caught anything itself.. which it does occasionally. You really cannot "overfeed" a healthy carnivorous plant, but they really do not require nearly as much nitrogen as other plants, so occasional insects work fine.

Thanks for the advice mutant! And I kind of felt the same way about foliar feeds myself. I just don't like the idea of spraying chemicals on a plant with such a low tolerance to minerals in the first place. And if any of that stuff where to leach to there roots it would probably kill it.
