My son is in love with these plants and has rescently sparked a inteest and love for them in me. I bought him one of those dome kits for growing with a variety of seeds. After weeks of waiting we finally have achieved are 1st small plants. I would like to grow him a larger garden and was looking for seeds online to buy. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best place to purchase seeds or would anyone like to donate some of their seeds to his new garden? Also does anyone have any tips for beginners such as ourselves? Thank you.

I would like to try to sow some Venus Fly trap seeds,but I hear differnt types of sowing medium and conditions.Some people say use Peat Moss,some people say Sphagnum Moss. What is the difference between Sphagnum Moss and Peat Moss?Does anyone have a link for sowing VFTs seeds? Thank you, betelgeuse3x

Most peat moss is milled sphagnum but not all. Some of the wet stuff contains compost which will kill carnivorous plants. Make sure it is 100% sphagnum peat moss. Here's how to grow from seed.

Also, private collectors usually have a variety of "beginner" seeds. Can't speak for Taz or others, but I have some.
