So when you are pruning off leaves to allow the light to reach the newer leaves that will come up when dormancy ends..how far down should you cut? I know you are supposed to not cut the bulb thing on VFT but on pitcher plants..how far down? and if mostly all of the leaves are browning at the top does that mean cut all of them or do you want to leave some for photosynthesis?

As far down as you can but you could leave say a half an inch or so if you want. Any brown or black leaf can be cut down. Any green leaf leave alone.
