What do you do with 'used' lighting?

Hi all,

Today I was replacing my lights in my 75 gallon terrarium and went out to the garage to find a spare and realized I had a bunch out there that I'm not sure if they were new and never used or if they were old ones! Do you mark your old bulbs so you know they've been used and use them for other purposes? Or do you just chuck them? I'm interested in what everyone does...

Marking the old bulbs would be usefull now that you mention it, but so far, I haven't had any that I had to discard. They do lose intensity as time passes but I haven't noticed any degridation yet with the ones I'm using.
