Hi nebbog, Looks like your going to have a nice setup there! I'm not from Nebraska, but there are a couple CP's that I know of that you could keep out year round. Northern Dewthread (Drosera filiformis) hardy in zones 4-8, and Purple Pitcher Plant northern variety (Sarracenia purpurea) hardy in zones 2-6. You can also grow many other variety's, but you'll just have to be sure to mulch them in good through the winter months.

I'm in zone 3 and there is at least one species each of butterwort and sundew that are native here (not sure what species though). The butterwort I've seen was growing in a marl bog, so it might not work if you are setting up an acid bog. Purple pitcher plant should work nicely, and will give a nice show of spring flowers once established.
