I was looking for a bladder yesterday at Lowes myself, my guess is they are the Mexican tropical variety like P. moranensis. I just ordered a 4" pot of them from Sarracenia Northwest.

Are you sure they were bladderworts. I went looking on 2 LoweÂs in my area. None were selling CP but I have never seen them sell bladderworts before.

If they ever sell bladderworts, the most showy & easy to grow would be the Âbunny-faced bladderwort, the U sandersonii. U bisquamata is also very prolific but its flower isnÂt as showy.

Then again, depending what region of the US you live. Lowe's will sell plants supplied from the nearest suppliers of CP.

Well if I distinctly remember, about a year ago when I bought my first unsuccessfully grown CP's, I thought I had seen a bladderwort species along with the VFT's and sundews...I just don't remember which kind it was. : /

I have never heard of Bladderworts being sold at Lowes... Crazy stuff.

Maybe bladderwort is being confused with butterwort?

Yeah...I was talking about bladders. If I wasn't I wouldn't of used utrics in the title.

I have not seen BLADDERWORTS at Lowes but HAVE seen Butterworts.

I don't know a lowes that sells bladderworts they do sell butterworts and purple pitcher plants along with sundews varity depends on location and venus fly traps are popular. Most nurserys of this trade have bladderworts for sale at a really decent price.
