If I don't see flower buds now..then...

So if at this point i don't see any flower buds is it safe to assume that i will have to wait till next season or two seasons for the plant to be old enough?

Sorry if this is a noob question, still consider myself a newb CP grower

I was wondering that myself. I bought some death cubes a year and a half ago - maybe longer - and it looks like there are buds and stalks forming now. I don't know how old they typically are when you buy them from Lowes.

You'll know soon enough. The VFTs may be a bit too young, the top Sarr. looks like it MIGHT be old enough. Not sure of the lower right Sarr.

I SO envy you jenion...my sarracenia is blooming now..after 2 and a half years i bought it and mind you it was triple the size of mattmega's sarracenia..well better late than never...

I would give them all at least one good year of growth and dormancy.

My experience with Sarracenias when they wake up from the dormancy. The flower bulbs pop out 1st fallowed by the pithcers. If the flower bulbs don't appear after the first pitcher leaves emerged, then it will not flower.
