Some species of Nepenthes, a tropical pitcher plant. I'm not sure what species though, because I'm not growing one right now because i ran out of room in my dorm,lol, but I'm sure Petiolaris would know. Good luck and I hope the plant does well!

Does it look something like this? I'm no expert, but what I have seen a lot in places like Home Depot and Lowed are what turned out to be N. ventrata:

This is just an educated guess!

A picture would be helpfull, but petiolaris is probably right. :-)
