the aphids came saw and are about to conquer

my poor cape sundew who was growing very well under my care has been infested with aphids. It looks so sad and pitifull trying to fight for life and has done so for months now. once i get enough water i am going try drowning the aphids. Whats weird is the aphids havent started to attack any other of my window grown cps even my pot of spoonleafs not even 6 inches from the cape sundews pot. i hope my cape sundew holds out just a bit longer

Been there... done that... drowning works just fine. Two days oughta be enough time to immerse them. The plant will look like a "drowned rat" for awhile but it will recover nicely.

how does the drowning work exactly? I tried drenching a cape sundew and coated it with insecticide but it didn't work. I've heard about drowning the aphids but I've never heard just how it is done. Please enlighten for the next time.

now something is eating my vfts but there not aphids i dont know what they are they are small and dark blue in color, and unlike aphis they eat, not suck the plant to death
