Wet damp area and a little bit of shade is like a resort for most insect. Which is also the prefer growing condition for most CP. Needless to say, there is no need to grow plant to attract more insect for your CP. Also, CPs do best when they have no competition around.

Great info drosera84! I always see pics of other people planting other non cp's on the same area and wondered if ot was a good idea but from the soind of it your answer about competition seems logical. Thanks again
