Leave them alone! If the rhizome is healthy they will recover. You should have waited for a calm day. Since there were no aphids it wouldn't have hurt to wait. Follow ALL the directions, not just part and give or take a day doesn't make much difference. I suspect you used imidacloprid since you got the same advice from the ICPS? It's systemic which means the plants would have been treated for a month or more through the roots if it got into the soil.

Thank you for your quick response Taz! So are you saying those "burnt" looking area will heal..kind of like a scab? When i touched it..it felt weak. Next time I'll wait for a better day.

No they probably will die but you don't want to cut them back until the plants have new growth and the damaged ones turn brown.

What can i do to help them heal..and actually produce pitchers this growing season?

Since you have used something else other than what was recommended you may have killed your plants. The active ingredient is good but it's all the other stuff that could kill your plants. All you can do now is flush the media well and keep your fingers crossed.

So i should NOT use this stuff on my CPs anymore?

If they survive and don't take too long to recover I don't see any reason not to use it again. Since acephate is systemic you should be good for awhile.
