I would just leave it outside all year long. Temperature is just one part of the whole picture. Day length is a more significant factor. Although... moving to Flagstaff would be helpful!

I thought the heat tolerance of the plant went up to 100 degrees for brief periods. Has anyone on this forum actually grown a VFT outdoors in +100 degree weather for almost literally 4 months?

There are successful hobbyists from Phoenix who grow them outside all year long. Just make sure that they are hydrated.

pmcp the growers in Florida see a decline when temps rise above 90F and the humidity is higher there. I would grow them inside until late august or early september, then put them outside for the cues of dormancy. You might have to give them a late dormancy. It might take a little longer for them to go dormant with those temps. Refrigerator dormancy may be the only choice you have for healthy plants.
