Stressing out about lights!!

So I have my 65 gallon 36x18x24 high terrarium waiting for everything to be setup. I have everything but the lights though! I am not sure how much lighting I need for it, it will have nepenthes, droseras, pings, and when my VFT's are not in dormancy ill put their pot in there. I saw this light on amazon, would it suffice for good coloring: http://www.amazon.com/Output-Fluorescent-Light-bulbs-included/dp/B002JQBQZQ/ref=sr_1_7?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1303632881&sr=1-7

But now the tank is 24 inches tall and 7 will be taken up by dirt/ river rocks for drainage, so that 17 inches between the light and the plants, depending on the plants height. Would this be a problem? Ugh my hair is about to fall out I need help now!!! If you have a better idea such as CFls please suggest it. THANK YOU!!

Multiple threads about the same subject isn't a good way to start here. AFAIC that light is overkill for nepenthes and also the drosera and pings depending on variety. 4 regular output T5's found at walmart ($10 ea) or any CFL's that are around 4000k-6500k will do the job.
