HI Guys! i recently purchased a venus flytrap and pitcher plant terriam from lowes.it is labeled bug biteing plants terriam and says it contains a dormant vft and pitcher in a small amount of soil.I planted the babies in the cube and punced holes in it for aieration and put them on my south facing windo which is also home to some cacti.They are doing great but the pitcher is puzzileing me.The picture on the side shows sarrencia purpera but the first pitcher is alread about 3 in. tall and has not even opend and contenues to grow bigger each day it has a purple tint at the top.Any help would be appreciated,

Probably phyllodia. Normal growth for sarracenia at the beginning of the season.

I bought that little kit too, until it develops fully, we wont know what species it is. But it's probably some hybrid and I bet because of the purprle tint you said, it is likely S. 'Judith Hindle'.
