I agree, although I can keep some highland neps growing without the use of a terrarium. Lowland do need humidity to grow, other then that. N ampullaria are easy to grow, just make sure you provide at least 12 hours of light for them to develope their urns and with good coloring.
I find that I enjoy ampullaria quite a lot. I like the chubby little urns it makes. This are my plants recovering after I transplanted to a large pot.
