Bugs to feed plants

Hi,

Since winter is over, and all my plants are awake, I can now feed it bugs.

The problem is, since all my plants are inside, they can't catch any bugs.

I know they don't need them, but it's been a while since they've had anything to eat and I want to give it something to eat. Do crickets work? (Like the kind you buy at the pet store)Or will they chew through the pitchers and jump out?

The only thing my plant has eaten is a gnat. The flava is the only one who ate something.
