i bought a sundew from a local nursery last year, and noticed weeks later it had an infestation of some sort of maggot like worms, which seem to be eating the roots of them. the sundews are dieing off, out of a 3 in pot completely full of them i have three unhealthy ones left. i repotted and disposed of any potting material but it seems it didn't rid me of these pests. apparently they layed eggs under the plant leaves as i even removed the soil from the plant roots. i don't want to dispose of the poor plants and most definitely don't want my other plants infected. is there a safe way to kill these things? (by safe i mean without harming my plants) i cleaned the roots and leaves of one sundew completely and submerged it in pure distilled water alone. i figured this would kill the eggs if there are some and the plant will get some probably much needed water since the roots are depleted.

(i dont know the type of sundew, probably spatula though)

i also have byblis and vfts that i want to protect.
