Those are offsets. I am like sooooo jealous! I can't get my S. debile to flower if my life depended upon it! What are you doing right... that I am doing wrong?

Scott, I'm just growing it like a sundew or ping. It seems to be doing much better since I moved it to a sunnier spot where it gets a couple hours of direct sun. I think the medium is peat, perlite and maybe sand, and I keep it moist most of the time. It never freezes where I live, and only goes above 90F a few days each year.

Far as I can tell, it has never caught a bug or produced any sticky substance on its leaves ... but I don't much care about that as long as it really is one of the carnivorous Stylidiums. Sometimes I suspect the seller just sent me a random weed he found growing in his backyard.

Maybe I just need to keep it waterlogged, like a Utric? I actually have a stray capensis growing with it.

I don't keep mine in standing water. It gets more or less the same treatment as a capensis. Maybe it just likes California. When would be a good time to divide it?

I would wait until after it's done flowering.
