Nepenthes Conundrum
OK, I have 3 nepenthes. Baby Judith Finn, Big Ventrata, and Very Big Miranda. Judith Finn is under 2 40 watt compact fluorescent lights. 1 is 5100k and the other is 3000k on for 16 hours per day and it was getting upwards of 1500 fc for that duration. The leaves were getting very tan, so I moved it back.

Miranda is outside with Ventrata although situated to get a little more direct light, on an E/W balcony. They get direct light at sunrise and sunset. They are both putting out lots of new growth and the pitchers they have, have looked good for a while and show little or no sign of crisping. The medium stays moist on all 3 as I water with RO water every 2-3 days, and all three get misted at least 3 times a day. Miranda is making new pitchers. Judith Finn is (slowly) making new pitchers. Ventrata, which I have had for the longest is aborting (I think)
