what variation are the red colored ones in the back?

They are all supposedly typical flytraps, but I think I got some of another type. :) I haven't made a possible ID yet. I will look tonight.

This pic is a little old. I have been keeping them very wet lately, especially with all the rain we've been having!

can I pot my VFT with LIVE sphagnum?

I just use dried sphagnum from Lowe's. It comes in a bale inside a bag. Make sure to get it without any fertilizers in it. I then add in some perlite or vermiculite, but not too much. One of the more experienced members here might be able to help you better.

Live LFS is great for VFT's.... just make sure you have the real deal.

Great looking plants. I got mine from logees yesterday and I fed them with aphids from my rose plant.
