P. morensis dry season question..tiny plant

Hi all. I am now the proud owner of my first ping, a P. morensis. Unfortunately when the grower said "small" I was expecting something larger than dime size in diameter.

Anyways, the ping arrived more white and yellow than green and bare rooted, wrapped in spag. moss. I have since repotted it (I already have sundews and VFT's so media was not in issue). it is starting to green up and grow now.

Here's the question: it is now mid May. Should I start letting it go drier for the summer dry season I have read about or is it too small now? If I skip the dry season now should I just wait until next year or give it a dry period after it has grown more? If so, how big?

Thanks in advance,

Judy
