Water sources

I usually buy distilled water for my carnivores, but I ran out the other day and went by a drugstore to get some more, but the store only had "purified" drinking water. The label said trace amounts of sodium had been added for taste. Is this OK to water with or should I stick to distilled?

I notice that distilled costs exactly the same as drinking water if you buy the same brands, so I'm wondering if perhaps most drinking water is in fact distilled or purified by the same means as the water sold as distilled.

Also, what about the filters sold to attach to indoor spigots? Will they remove enough minerals to make the water safe for carnivores?
