I went to my local Lowe's and HomeDepot but all they have is Scotts Miracle-Gro Perlite & Peat moss, and that stuff is dangerous to canivorous plants... What stores can i find good Perlite & peat moss? JUST FYI i live in NJ Middlesex county east brunswick if it helps

Lowes sells orchid moss which is good for most CP's. Aquatic plant soil, found at nurseries, is good for Mexican butterworts.

Try some local smaller family owned garden centers as well.
