A couple of the leaves on a couple of my VFT's are curling back. They were outdoors in full unfiltered sunlight all day. The best description I can give is that the petioles look like you standing in your bathroom, looking into the mirror, opening your mouth as wide as you can (thats the trap) and try as hard as you can to make your eldows touch behind your back. They aren't turning crispy, the leaf color is good; light green/yellow (not dark green), and the new traps are developing red pigments.
Since I noticed this, I have moved them into dappled shade. Everything I have read says "full sun. full sun" and dappled shade is hardly full sun, what's the deal? Austin is in zone 8 if that helps.
