Nepenthes alata. thin floppy leaves
Hey
I've had this Nepenthes alata for over 3 years now, and it's lived in 4 different places with me..I bought it in San Francisco where it seems to like it, but I have had to keep it in Petaluma for awhile where there was low light and low humidity. Finally moved back to SF in april, and i hope that it does better again. It's getting way more light. I don't know what it was, but when it was in Petaluma (which is a town more inland from the ocean, more dry) the vines that grew primarily in Petaluma have really thin floppy leaves. The older vines have thicker harder leaves. I've been watering it pretty well, but the leaves aren't perking up. Would a foliage fertilizer help? Since it was so dry in Petaluma, all the pitchers dried up, so it hasn't been able to get nutrients. Suggestions?
