It is quite normal for new leaves to cause older leaves to be pushed aside, causing them to lean a bit. But another cause S. flava may be leaning is could be the lack of sufficient light, which can cause them to grow long, spindly, and thin. Then they tend to flop to the sides. Some people make the mistake of growing them inside their homes, which soon causes the plant to produce long thing unsightly leaves. Flavas are sun-loving plants and If they donâÂÂt get sufficient bright light, minimum 6 hours, they donâÂÂt grow well, In shade

Another cause can be the lack of sufficient water. That would cause them to wilt. I keep my Sarracenia growing in a soggy wet soil.

One thing, you do not want to add more soil and cover up the rhizome. For one, it won't work and you may end up suffocating the rhizomes. Rhizomes like to have the top half above soil level. Don't use regular or potting soil, it will kill your plants since regular potting soil to much nutrients and is alkaline. You only use peat moss with perlite, in a 50:50 ratio. This mixture is the standard mix for most carnivorous plants.

Ok, I think I am taking care of them right then. I keep them in constantly moist soil, only using water have let sit out for a few days. They are on my back deck which gets at least 8 hours of sun. I made sure the rhizome "crown" is above the soil. I don't think it is crowding, there are only a handful of shoots... I will take a picture when I go home for lunch and post it.

I know it seems logical, but rain can knock them over sometimes, too.
