I have been trying to grow Sarracenia's. This is my second year. I have been reading the posts and will tell what I am doing now. I may need to make changes. We have a pond liner in the ground on South side of house. We filled with mix 50/50 of sand and peat moss. The idea was that it would replicate a bog and stay wet. It didn't stay wet (don't know why) so I repotted sarracenia's into a couple tubs having no holes. These tubs do stay wet and the plants set in a small amount of water. We have a well so that and rain water is what they get. Now, it sounds to me that the plants should be elevated. Any ideas or opinions? I can't get Photobucket to work anymore so I don't have a means to post. Also tried Picassa and no luck there, maybe because we use Windows XP. So that is my story. Appreciate input. Marie
