I don't think that's mealybug. More likely aphids. A better picture would tell us more.

Can't see them in this picture. They are definitely mealy bugs. I know those nasty things when I see them. I just need a safe way to kill them.

Acephate (Orthene) and Imidacloprid (Bayer products) will work, per Sarracenia Northwest. Follow label directions as always!

Don't use the dish soap! There are surfactants in the neem.

Neem? I'll have to find some then. As long as it is carnivore safe, it's worth a try.
