venus fly trap -- has lost his scent

My venus fly trap is 3 years old this year & "milo" has lost his scent. every year he has smelled a little "skunky" which is normal for venus fly traps but this year he's scentless. The last time i re-potted him was 2 years ago -- got busy this year & forgot then he came out of dormancy so i'll wait until the fall until i repot him. Does anyone know why his stinkness is gone? should i add peat moss to his pot? otherwise he's green with massive traps. thank you all for any info....

It might be the lack of food... decomposing. If the plant appears healthy, then I wouldn't mess with it. BTW, I grew up in Huntington and sorely miss REAL pizza!

how often do you feed him? if he gets fed fairly often and is big, green, and growing then he is fine... though one can grow an aqiured love of the VFT smell. Happy growing!
