I have NEVER seen so many houseflies outdoors as I have here in our new neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale. The dogs have to be fed inside because they won't get a bite before the flies take it away, and not to mention I am tired of them getting inside. Yesterday I was at the store looking at poisons and traps when it hit me like a ton of bricks, use Mother Nature! After reading online I have just managed to thoroughly confuse myself, can someone suggest a fast growing/propagating killer plant that I could use as a border around the privacy fence, or can do clumps strategically around the yard. Have plenty of spots that get various amounts of sun so that isn't a deciding factor really, and my soil will be amended before planting because I have the typical Floridian sandy soil.
