I think other pitchers will start eventually. My Neps get morning Sun and then only bright light the rest of the day. Mine are outside now for the season.

From what I have seen, Nepenthes usually concentrate on the newest pitcher and forget about earlier pitchers that fail to develop, so it might not go back and continue developing those at all.

Looks like that's whats going to happen. Newest pitcher growing - older ones not going anywhere, and they're a darker brown that the newest one. Oh well, I'm just excited that it's decided it likes it environs!

Neps are also nororious for ceasing growth if the environment changes significantly for them and can remain in a funk for several weeks. With any of these plants it is best to get them where you think the best conditions will be and wait out the reactions, if any. As long as you see new growth, all is well.

Yeah, I rigged up some lighting above it with a 100 watt CF and have it set to come on from 6:30 to 4pm, then off until 8pm, since this is when it's getting sun through the window. then it comes on again until 10pm. I figured a good 16 hours of light can't hurt it any! :)

16 hours of 12000 lumen florescent light 5 inches from the leaves is what I give my Nepenthes sanguinea too. In winter I had it on 12 hours a day, and it did not stop producing pitchers, however, with the increase to 16 hour photoperiods in the growing season, the Nepenthes really sped up in growth and tripled it's size. It produces pitchers about one every 3 weeks and twice as large as before. The old pitchers are only 2 inches tall and have been alive for over 5 months, just now starting to die off. The new pitchers are over 4 inches tall now. That photoperiod and light intensity both have a lot to do with pitcher formation. It does not hurt that every pitcher has captured several meals either.
