True, they are outdoor plants. They can stand the heat.

They come from N.C., so they can take the heat. They just need to be outside, to soak up as much direct sunlight as possible.

Venus Flytraps can tolerate heat levels of about 100 or so degrees, but extended temps of over 100 will eventually harm them and kill them. 90 degrees is fine, but the terrarium, as you read up about, is a really bad idea for multiple reasons. Adapt the plant for higher intensity light and low humidity slowly by opening the terraruim a little very 3 days till the humidity is not longer trapped, then repot it in a regular pot with a tray under it. Adapt it to high light slowly by placing it in a brighter window each week, finally getting it outside in full sun for optimal growth as tommyr and pertiolaris indicated.
