Maybe it's long fibered Sphag moss? I use 50/50 peat and perlite.

A mixture of sand, peat, and LFS is great for most CP's.

I have a 100 percent peat moss (just got it) but i cant get any good perlite because all the ones in my home depot are filled with nutrients

If you try to by these small bags of perlite, they always contain nutrients or some wetting agent. Found that out the hard way, when most of my plants were doing bad. Home Depot sometime sells large bails of untreated perlite. That could save you some additional trips to a nursery if it turns out you need more perlite. But I do give it good a wash just to play it safe.

Go to the smaller garden centers for perlite. HD sucks for perlite.
