i think my nepenthes is in huminity shock, i heard it will take like a month or two to see new pitchers, when my nepenthes in shock will it continue to grow or not?
Posted this elsewhere, but trying to get the word out, I need help: I have a HUGE nepenthes that I stupidly moved to another spot last year, it pooped out, I moved it to it's happy home and it is feeling better now, but has not made any new pitchers in about a year. I read up on cuttings and had 2 or 3- 1 cm long roots on each of three cuttings- all of which have new terminal growths, but no pitchers yet. I thought that the time had come to put them in soil ( perlite, sand and peat). I did this last weekend, now the cuttings' leaves are browning :-( Don't know what to do, I think it's getting enough water and it appears to be draining well, any tips? Please!
its ok just put it in 3-4 hours of direct sunlight and do not put fertilizer!! this can also cause your nepenthes to think that it doesn't need to pitchers anymore because it has enoght food on the ground, 2th, how big is the pot, a small pot can also cause to stop pitchering because the roots have no space left. and what kind of water you givin it.
