graminifolia don't like me. I've tried two that have died suddenly. I think that they don't care for things too hot. They aren't supposed to be too difficult though so it could be worth a shot. Just ask the cobraplant guys for advice but I think that it should be ok.

I started a small colony from seeds, 3 years ago. I still have one plant remaining. They like lots of light and a good temperature differential between night and day. Not the best photo, taken in June:

Here are my three D. graminifolias side by side in their new pot after a complete repotting. They deal with root disturbance well and seem to get used to slightly higher temperatures than they are normally indicated to like. They typically prefer temperatures of about 75 degrees, however have gotten used to my household temperatures of 77-80 degrees with little variation at night. It took them a few months to adjust but they are really taking off now. They started at 5 inch height and are now hitting 8 inches tall. Place them in a sunny window as florescent lights really cannot give good coverage to the lower sections of the plants as you keep having to move the plants farther away as they grow taller. They actually look a bit sparse compared to other sundews, but are interesting in their own right.

They sound a lot like cloud forest orchids, which is my other addiction. Steady temps all year long, 70's day 60's night. not a ton of light by orchid standards? That's why I posted. I grow my cloud forest 'chids in spag. They may get along well with Graminfolia.

D. graminifolia actually like strong light, even full sun tolerant. They can get by on 12000 lumen florescent, however; need that to be staged so it hits the lower leaf surfaces too. Hopefully, I will soon be moving to a new apartment where I can get them in a morning sun window with the floros overhead as extra light.
