New selection of CP's!

Hi,

I went to my local Lowe's today and was very surprised to this.

They had a new selection of CP's!!

Here are the plants they had:

S. flava

S. leucophylla

S. Scarlet belle

S. Judith hindle

S. purpuea

S. rubra

P. Aphrodite

P. primuliflora

P. Moranensis

D. binata

D. capensis

D. adelae

D. spatulata

D. aliciae

D. burmannii

D. rotundifolia

Nepenthes x ventrata

Nepenthes sanguinea

Nepenthes ventricosa

Venus flytrap

and cobra lily.

Sadly,they were still in those cubes of death.

I just wanted to inform you of this.

Hey.. buy them all and redistribute! That's an incredible selection by that particular store! Normally, you're lucky to see 1/4 of those. BTW, as long as there is greenery, there is life. They CAN be nursed back to health.

The lowes near me doesn't have 21 cubes, let alone 21 different varieties!

The Lowes here in Phoenix are selling plants from Gubler Orchids and Botanical Wonders. Gubler Orchids has starting selling new plant in our area, what seems to be an unidentified hybrid Mexican Pinguicula other then their usual P. primuliflora

Plus Botanical Wonders are selling modified death cubes in which the plants are potted already in individual pots, has a removable top lid and the plants are easier to pull out form the cubes. The plants look quite healthy and stay in that condition for more then a month.

From Gublers, they offer the typical Venus flytrap, D. adelae, D. tokaiensis, S. x 'Scarlet Belle', S. x 'Judith Hindle', cobra lilies, and N. x Ventrata and what may be possibly is N. x Judith Finn.

From Botanicals Wonders, they offer the Venus flytraps, D. adelae, N. ventricosa, N. sanguinea, N.x Ventrata, N. x Judith Finn, S. x 'Scarlet Belle', S. x 'Judith Hindle', cobra lilies, S. purpurea, S. rubra, P. primuliflora.

I have yet to see more expanded selection of plants here at Lowes.
