Pitcher plants and hummingbirds

I'm planning on placing a hanging basket pitcher plant about 3-4 yards from the hummingbird feeders. I don't want the plant to eat the hummingbird though. Is it safe to put it this close to the feeders or should I place farther or completely different area?

I'd keep it away from the feeder(s). IF the pitchers are large enough to swallow the birds. The hummer should be able to get out I would think if trapped. They are really smart. I love hummers!
