It may be ok for some Nepenthes or D.adelae if placed close but not others. You can get them for less at lowes or home depot. If you plan on growing other types of carnivores then go with T12,T8 or T5 fluorescent tubes and look for 5000k bulbs or the closest you can find. Sunstick and ott-lite are good brands. Instead of asking sooooo many questions try the search function like it says in the Terms of Service. You will find what you need and not have to wait for someone to reply. Time can become costly when dealing with live plants as you will soon see.
