Are VFTs hardy to my area?

Hello;

I have a venus fly trap growing outside with my Purple pitcher plant(sarracenia purpera) and Yellow pitcher plant (sarracenia flava). Last year we had a freak snowstorm with about two feet of snow, and temps about 33oF(high) and 15of(low), which the two pitcher plants amazingly survived in and went dormant. I live in Talbot County (Eastern Shore.)

I have them "double potted" (potted in a plastic pot placed inside a large clay pot.) The clay pot is filled with moss I found in my front yard(which the Sarracenia have rooted through their plastic pots into and seem to enjoy, not sure though), and the plastic pots are filled with sphagnum and peat moss. I have about an inch of peat on top of the two pots, and this sphagnum like moss I found near a pond. I water with rain water, and was wondering if the VFT is hardy to my area?

~Chris
