So I need to/should I add water to my Sarrencias and Neps?

Hi Guys!

I have actually been reading the forum for weeks now and have picked up some great tips!

Over the past few months I have gone from zero CPs to around 10 now, and all except my ping are doing great thanks to you guys!

In reading the forums, I am aware that I "can" add water to Sarrs and Neps....

But my question is...will I be hurting my plants if I do or dont?

I am aware that all pitcher plants would get rain water in them naturally and to occasionally add distilled water wouldnt hurt...

I have all my CPs on my balcony, except my Neps whichare inside.

Because i am in NYC, I can oly put them on a balcony. So although they get good sun, the balcony above mine prevents any rainwater from falling in, ever.

I have all the Sarrs sitting in distilled water, about halfway up the pot.

Will I hurt them or dilute their digestive fluids if I add water a lot?

Do they make their own water?

Does it depend on species?

If there is more info I should include, please let me know.

Thanks guys and I am happy to finally be interacting with you all instead of just reading posts!

Youve all been a great help already!

What would you guys suggest as far as do I need to add water?

Mark
