Brown spots on Sarracenia

I have a Sarracenia rubra that I've been growing since April. It's my only carnivorous plant. It's in sphagnum moss, which was recommended and given to me by the seller. I water it with distilled water and it gets rained on. It was in my bright, sunny front yard in SC up until last week, and now it's on a less-bright patio in Ohio, where it gets only maybe three hours of direct sun every day. It was doing really well and putting up plenty of pitchers about 6-8". Maybe about a month ago, I started seeing small amounts of darkening around the edges of some of the larger pitchers, and over the past couple of weeks, I've started seeing brown spots on the pitchers. I don't know how long the pitchers usually last, and I thought maybe they were just dying back and making way for new ones, but I saw some brown spots on a couple of the smaller pitchers as well.

I also noticed recently that algae is growing in the water and on the sphagnum moss. I don't know what's going on. Any ideas?
