Repotting

Last spring, I was giving the neps a haircut: cutting off dead leaves, withered pitchers, etc. and otherwise making it look pretty for its summer outside. Snipped one seemingly-dead vine, but parts of it were still green. Trimmed and dipped it in rooting hormone and stuck it in the nearest empty pot of dirt in the greenhouse, not expecting much.

Well, it's doing just fine with several leaves starting to pitcher. Since it's just in ordinary, used soil, it might be a good idea to re-pot into proper media. Should I make an effort to rinse off the roots with rainwater, or what?

Cheers
